I'm Morgan and I have a weird nostalgia for YOUR PHOTOS! Let's make sure they are all in one place, backed up (in multiple ways), and searchable so you can find just what you want when you want to. Plus my favorite part... getting photo albums in your hands to enjoy with family and friends and pass down for generations!

I have worked with photos for 20+ years, from printing in the darkroom in high school, to the one hour photo lab in college just when digital cameras came on the market (and I swore I would never own one), to receiving my AA in photography and running my own photography business. I have managed my own photo collection and those of my clients for 13 years. This hasn't always come easy though, scroll down to read when I started thinking about photo organization and why I want to help others avoid the experience of loosing a photo.

Let's get you (m)organized!

IT's NICE TO MEET YOU

After college I was applying to grad school in Architecture. We had to put a portfolio together of our previous projects. I was in the first group of "lucky" applicants that got to do it digitally vs collaging things together on sheets of paper, as page layout software was starting to be more readily available. I was working from a laptop that was getting full, and slow, so I decided to take a few minutes to delete files I didn't need. They were nowhere near the important "Portfolio" Folder that needed to be to the printer in 3 days. When I was done purging I emptied the trash. As I was watching I saw the words permanently deleting "Portfolio" come across the screen. I instantly started reacting like a toddler and didn't believe my eyes. Sure enough that folder was gone.

I immediately called a local data recovery company. They told me if I didn't do anything else to my computer they were confident they could get the files back. I rushed the computer over paid the $600 for their rush service to get it back in time for the deadline. The next day, ahead of schedule, they called and said they found the files! I stopped working on the computer I had borrowed, just in case needed to start over, and once again rushed to their shop. I brought my computer home and tried opening the files and not one worked, they were all corrupt. I quickly called them back and their response was "Oh, we said we found the files but we never guaranteed they would work!" $600 later I was no closer to finishing my portfolio but gained 2 "free" t-shirts.

A lot of lessons were learned here. Let me help you learn the importance of backup in a less dramatic fashion!

6. TRYING NEW RESTAURANTS

I think I could live on a diet consisting only of chips and salsa. I definitely wouldn't mind eating this everyday. Smoothies are a close second!

I would do this everyday if I could!

8. SWIMMING

I love lakes and rivers (being in MN I'm never far). As much as I like swimming it's highly unlikely you'll see me swimming there... the fish scare me, unless they're on my fishing pole!

I've been known to have a random dance party in my living room at the drop of a hat.
